The sound on two stations (ABC and NBC) are not working and on one I am receiving a weather radio channel. I called the cable company and they said the problem is with the SAP on the television. I have tried everything I know on the remote to reset, but cannot find SAP on the remote anywhere. 1. Does the tv have SAP capabilities? 2. If so, how do I get to it? 3. If not, what else might be wrong with the sound?
Hello dotdeb99, Use your remote to go to the menu on your TV and scroll through the menu items, you should see the SAP feature. Then turn it off. You can also get the users manual for your TV on-line and it should have SAP instructions in it. Just remember SAP is a TV menu item, it will not be actually on the remote itself. Thank you.

Ok what is the brand and model of your TV set? I might be able to locate that documentation. and point you to it.
Ok I could not find a users guide, however did you see the menu item for Sound settings? If you did look for an Item that says MTS, let me know if that is a switchable menu item,ok?
No luck on the Owners guide, however if you contact Sansui they should be able to send you one. Let me continue to look for that owners manual and I'll post the location, but in the mean time contact Sansui and try to get it that way.
One more thing to try,
In your menu go to Audio then if it has an advanced settings item go to it and get to its sub-menu (that is where it maybe)Second Audio Program (SAP). I am still trying to locate that Owners manual but it looks like not a lot is out there on this TV except for complaints (and there are a lot of those, wow).

Thank you for such a quick response, however, I did scroll throught the TV menu and could not locate the SAP feature anywhere. I pulled down the menu and went through each of the subtitles and nowhere to be found.I thought it would be in the audio subtitle, but it was not there, so I went through each of the others and it was not there either.
As far as the Users Manual goes, I have tried to locate that, as well. Can you please give me a specific pathway to find it? I am so computer challenged (frustrated). It sounds as though I am totally helpless, but I actually do hold down a job.
Thanks ever so much!

Thank you for trying....there is no sub menu. Oh well. I'll just read the subtitles. If you come across anything I would appreciate an update. I am grateful your efforts.
