This is a search and find type of problem. Check all wiring, especially if the generator has a low oil cut off switch. Check the wiring to that. Also, check carburetor linkage and for any springs that may have come off. Check the linkage to the governor on the engine to make sure the linkage is not binding.

SOURCE: oil change

Tip it over sideways - no drain hole exists, just the inlet.

What is the reason oil steaming in abundance ginrator yamahaef6000

If oily smoke is coming out of the muffler, then it is an indication that the rings are bad. Make sure that the oil is at the proper level.

Should there be oil in the generator/stater housing? where can I get a break down of all parts to do this job I'm having a hell of a time! Please help???

Hi, You don't state what your actual problem is. Because it is normal for your Suzuki TL to have oil in this area. I run a 2005 Suzuki SV 650 N and a Yamaha TW 125. If you open the timing cover cap on the generator housing on these bikes oil is all over the place inside. The little Yam when changing the drive sprocket you have to drain the engine oil before removing the left hand crank casing. The generator and starter are housed here.

Can you help me? I have generator yamaha ef 2600. Generator normally running about 3 minutes then rpm comes unsteady and gen stops. Moreover at load 2kW gen immediatly works unsteady and stops. Without...

As you describe the problem, the reason is unstable load handling.
This means that the fuel or air is not enough.

When begin to be unsteady:
  1. If smoke comes out of muffler - the input air is not sufficient. Try to clean or change air filter (cleaner).
  2. If no smoke, the fuel is not enough. The reason may be the mechanical governor, or the fuel supply to it, fuel filter/strainer etc.
