Texting I cannot figure out how to disable my text messaging from viewing when I open my phone.

The question is worded vaguely, so I'll try to give a general overview.

Modern mobile phones come with a built in app that allows users to access the text messaging services offered by the service provider.

If the plan you selected from your cellular service provider includes texting, (just about all do these days), open the app and follow the step-by-step instructions to log into the app and perform any required set-up.

In general.....if someone needs to text you, they would open the text app on their phone, enter your cellular telephone number, type a message and press the send icon.

On your side, your phone would indicate that a text has been received. The app may auto open and display the text on the phone's display without any involvement on your part, or , you may need to press an icon to open the app.

You can read the message, and then type out a reply (if needed) and press the send icon one completed. Once both parties are done, you can press the home button...exit button or something similar to exit out of the texting app.

If there is a profile of the texter in your phone's address book, you might even see his/her name appear on the screen during the texting session,

Usually this error occurs when text messaging has been disabled for some reason. Do you currently have a limit to the amount of texts you can send that may have been exceeded or did someone remove texting from your phone without your knowledge?

To disable predictive texting on Motorola V360:

1. Select the "Texting," "Text Messaging" or similar option on the menu screen.
2. Choose the "Text Options" or "Options" selection on the "Text Messaging" screen. Choose "New Message" or "New Msg" if no "Options" selection is available, then press the button associated with the "Options" selection found on the blank message screen.

Based on your description, what you are referring to is called T9 Predictive Texting. It allows words to be entered by a single keypress for each letter, as opposed to the multi-tap approach used in the older generation of mobile phones in which several letters are associated with each key, and selecting one letter often requires multiple keypresses. Example, when typing the word 'love' in a T9 activated phone, all you have to do is press the numbers 5, 6, 8 and 3 once in sequence. As compared to the regular texting, in order to complete the word 'love', you have to press the number 5 thrice, the number 6 thrice, the number 8 thrice, and the number 3 twice.
If you want to disable T9 predictive texting, it can usually be disabled by pressing and holding the hash or number key (#).

In the settings or options section of the texting mode (a soft key feature) you will find something called AUTO VIEW. Open it and make your choice.

Most phone are alike. You should be able to go to:

messages
scroll to sent messages
and open it

when your on the messgage screen where it says no messages on the bottom right or left there should be an option to start a new one. another thing that should work is in your contacts if you click on there name and then click the options button it should give the option to sent txt. some phones are complicated if you find the manual for the phone it should be in there or go to nextels website

i have the same problem... i just figured out that my inbox for texting was pretty fulll too... so if you delete your messages the message should go away...

Open the menu of mobile select messages, than click on write sms, type any text , if you want to delete than click on C button
