Have lost ability to scan or copy

Do you have your original install disks? Go to Control Panel, Programs and uninstall the old stuff. Then just reinstall the new. If you don't have the original install disks, go to the printer manufacturers website and download the new drivers and install them.

Lost Driver Disks

You can find here below the driver for Windows 2000 and XP.

Click on the link and then on the Download it message.

It will ask to save on your disk a file called R80999.exe

I lost my mother cd so what can i do download this disk

If you can locate the model number (and version) from the motherboard, you can go to the mainboard manuafacturer's website and download the chipset, video, network, audio, and RAID drivers as well as many utilities that may have been on the original install disk. They won't have the same level of self-install that the original disk had, but they usually are fairly easy to setup

Lost the original intall disk. "Starting point" error

there are a lot of drivers out there which depend on the os version, you might have installed the right driver but for the wrong os. try typing in the model number in google and look for the drivers on there or go directly to the vendor's website and get them to help you from there

The driver for Windows XP can be downloaded from this link (CLICK).
the driver is the same distributed on original disk.
The video imaging software included on original CD can be downloaded from this direct link.
Drivers for Vista are not available.
