I would like to purchase a new remote control for our Durabrand dvd player as my 5 year old son destroyed the original!
Can't help with replacing original remote, but if you get a universal remote, you can look for the programming code here: http://www.remotecentral.com/
Instructions with universal remote will say how to program, then look up the code in the booklet that comes with it, or try the above site to get the 3 or 4 digit code to program it to work.
Sorry. I've used the site for so long I've gotten used to it. If you click on Files in the top menu bar, then scroll to bottom and click Manuals, codes, and more, then Universal Remote Control Manuals, you'll find the manuals for all the universal remotes out there. Unfortunately not all codes work for all remotes so it's best to find the manual for your remote.
