Email providers such as Hotmail, Yahoo! and Gmail make it easy for email account holders to request an old password.
You must know your complete email address and have an alternative email address or cell phone number where a confirmation code can be sent.
If you cannot get your password back, your email provider will delete the old one. You can then create a new password.
Go to the email provider's website. For example, if your email address is registered with Yahoo!, go to Yahoo.com and if your email address is registered with Hotmail, go to Hotmail.com.
Find the sign-in section on the main page of the website.
You will see one box for your email ID and one for your email password.

Click the link that says, "Forgot your password?" if you're trying to recover a password belonging to a Hotmail email account.
Click the link that says, "Can't Access Your Account?" if you want to recover a password belonging to a Yahoo! or Gmail email account.
Check the circle indicating that you need to recover your password.
A page under the heading, "Reset your password," will appear.

You'll be asked to enter your email address.
Enter the characters in the picture box to confirm that your request is authentic. Email providers such as Hotmail, Yahoo! and Google employ this security feature to stop automated programs from illegally accessing email accounts.
Click "Continue."
Confirm your cell phone number or alternate email address, which the email provider will use to send a confirmation code.
Do not exit from this page.
You will need it later.

Go back to the page where you confirmed your cell phone number.
Enter the confirmation code that you received. Click "Next."

Enter a new password, if requested, or sign in using your old password, which will appear on screen.

My yahoomail cannot open because of invalid password which is not true i have entered the right yahoo id and password of mine.

Try to resent password to your mail (find link around password input). When it come to your mail, use copy-paste to be sure that it is not some keyboard problem. Sometimes locales has different position for zy. Don't use special character in your password. When you going in account, change your password with new one. Because someone know your password too. Test computer for viruses (AVG is good free antivirus) because viruses can steal your passwords.

Trying to retreive messages and now it's saying invalid number. used to I would just dial 115, then promted to put in 115# and would get message. Now just says invalid number. How do I fix this. ...

115 is the port the voice mail is on. The prompt is "enter password then #". The password is your voice mail password from the extension you're calling from. If you are trying to get your messages from another phone, press #6 * and your extension. It will then ask you for your password to your voice mail.

There are FOUR system manuals and TWO manuals for the TVA or TVS voice mail system. None of them say 7731 on the face of them, so post back with you KSU and Voice mail models.

Locked mailbox. Contact admin. I've used feature 983 but the passwords 1020000,120000,10020000 won't work. I am prompted for 'log'. If I just bypass 'log' by pressing OK, it takes me to password and it...

Try this: "Feature" 983, Enter 120000 or the system coordinator password, press "ok", press "mbx", press "chng", then enter the mail box number, press "reset", then release. The mail box password should default to "oooo"
