The springs have come out Dell Logitech wireless mouse
There's a spring (the circle in the middle with two ends) and and another one that has a circle at the top, bent into a triangle half way in the middle then goes behind and has a cquare type tip. But these have come out of the mouse and the mouse will not work.Dp/N:0T0179

It may need a magnifying glass to see, but the inside of the case where the batteries go will tell you which way to put them in.
Here are the clues:
The positive end of the battery has a "bump" or a bulge on it.
The negative end is flat, but usually has a round tiny indentation, like a circle.
Inside the battery holder you should see perhaps the picture of a battery, that is in the correct position.
Or, perhaps you will see a " + " which is positive, or a " - " which is negative.
Finally, you should see a tiny coil spring, or a flat metal spring on one end and a "bump" or a tiny round piece of metal on the other.
The bump is the positive, the coil spring or the flat spring is the negative.
God bless your efforts.
Did it come with an extra sideboard that connects the end sides together after you take one side off? The mattress spring or board should be sufficient to hold the end sides together but some come with a toddler bed side rail.
mcdevito75 here, Souds like that is 1 of the return springs for either the left or righ button (click) functions on your mouse, look under the cover itself for some sort of seat for this spring,
The Spring goes on the right side of the mouse wheel as it would be pointing at your computer. It supports the wheel to make it spring back when preasure is applied. Place the spring on the axle with the spring forming an spread out "A" (not a "V"). You will see that it falls nicely into the 2 little tower mounts. my real problem was with the other little piece of bent wire that fell out. This is the part that makes the snaping fealing as you scroll the wheel. This connects directly on the plastic part that is mounted on the scroll wheel. If you look at that plastic part you will see a small hole. One end goes in that hole & the other rounded end goes to the splines on the wheel itself. I hope this helps, it better that just saying go buy another.
