If you have no lights at all, check the thermal fuse located inside the control panel If the thermal fuse is good, check the continuity in the door switch.

I don't know your technical ability, but there is a fuse located next to the control board inside the console, this is a good place to start. Kitchen Aid is good about putting tech sheets on the back of the kickplate and it should have wiring and diagnostic info there. Just be sure to put the sheets back so the next service tech to work on it will have them :)

It can be the issue with defective float switch. The float switch may be hung up and this can cause the dishwasher to be stuck in a cycle. One more thing, if your dishwasher gets stuck in a cycle first try shutting off the breaker for at least 5 minutes if this does not correct the problem you will need to replace the timer / electronic control.

I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher model#KUDS01J, Icann't get it to start the rinse only cycle is stuck with a light blinkin and we cann't press any other functions on the panel.

I suggest having a qualified service tech diagnose your situation. The most likely issue would be a shorted touchpad. However, a failed control board could give you the same scenario. Both parts are expensive, so you would want to know which is failed prior to changing a part.

the pump is stuck. remove motor.insert plastic pen into bottom of motor.remove impeller by turning counter clockwise.file bottom of impeller stem.put enough washers on the keeper clip to prevent the impeller and the pump housing from binding.reassemble and there you have it!!!!
