I have Mitel SX50 Phone for a motel. Every time I have "Equipment Busy" on the LCD screen. I read through manual and reset the console, so I can clear the trunk. As soon as I reset, It is fine for 5 minutes and then again same Equipment Busy sign on LCD screen. When Equipment busy signal appears, it prevents any room to call out local calls. They can only call front desk.
Please advice
Press "function", then 32. This will clear all alarms and error codes.
The trunks are being held from releasing. Best guess is the telco did you a "favor" and converted the trunks to loop start and the PBX is looking for ground start. You can test that at the frame with a regular telephone and looking at the system programming.

sounds like ur pstn gateway is the cause check all connections and make sure that the sytem is completely unpowered then plug in restart and test a local call, leave line open and see what it does
