Dont understand. Do you mean it has happened again since repair? Take it back again of course!

The repair should have it's own separate guarantee against faulty workmanship and parts even though the original warranty has now expired.

Anyway I'd say this unit was pretty good and well worth repairing, guessing $50US plus parts.

Don't let the repair shop fob you off with an expensive new faceplate. The inner components are individually available from Pioneer.

But first something to check for yourself. Look at the little gold connections at the back of the faceplate and on the front of the radio, make sure they aren't bent.

    Good Luck

How do I fix a dryer with control panel that is not making anything happen, and the door opening and closing is what turns the machine on and off?

is cheaper to have a service tech come in and trouble shoot the root of your problem., since boards are really expensive and you could be replacing them all day long and they are not returnable just to later find out you had a bad display screen.

How to improve Windows XP performance in 6 short steps?

Though the computers of today are strong enough to handle and run Windows XP, with all the visual enhancements enabled, some old computers, or systems with low amount of physical memory and/or a "weak" graphic cards could (and would) run more smoothly with those "cosmetic visual enhancements" disabled.

The default setting is to let Windows choose what's best for your computer, but in 90% of the time, "helping" it a little will surely improve your computer performance!

To disable those visual enhancements, all you have to do is follow the following 6 short steps:
  1. Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties.
  2. Go to Advanced tab.
  3. Click Settings, under Performance section.
  4. Choose Adjust for best performance.
  5. If you would like to keep the "Windows XP Style" (as oppose to "Windows Classic" = Windows 98/Windows 2000 style), you will need to re-tick the 2 last options (Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop and Use visual styles on Windows and buttons). This will keep the nice graphical interface and will preserve Windows XP "fancy look".
  6. Click OK on Performance Options window, then click OK once again, to close System Properties.
  • You can always turn the visual enhancements on by repeating steps 1-4 and choosing Let Windows choose what's best for my computer.
  • To make ALL visual enhancements on, choose Adjust for best appearance instead.
Note: Changes take effect immediately, no reboot required.

Another side-issue regarding visual styles is the wallpaper, or Desktop Background.
Having no background (a solid color. Select None in the background's settings under Desktop tab in Display Properties) will demand less resources from the computer and increase response time when showing the Desktop. On the other hand, having a large-size (both in scale and in file size) photo will need more resources (especially memory) to rescale and view/reload it, every time the Desktop is shown.

My v-touch screen doesnt work what should i do

Try the reset button on the back, lower right. If you think the screen is broken, contact Visual Land and see if your warranty is still valid. You can go to there website here:

Menu options do not display and nothing happens when you hi brew

Am I to assume it brews if you normal brew? It can be that normal brew is not controlled in the same way hi brew is, therefore when the control panel stops functioning and no screen display, the hi brew feature also stops working.
This casn only mean that either the circuit control is faulty and needs replacement. orthere is a bad connection that has finely shown or corroded to the point of not working completely. In either case, the unit needs to opened and tested & or visually insepected.

There is no visual coming on the main screen ... error shown is lens cap ...

check the shutter is opening? If the sutter is opening you have to change CCD base on the optical block. If no you have to change iris unit

Problem Visual not Shown

plese explain is your screen black

No visual on my PS3

I dont think theres any solution to this, why did you dropp it?

Problem with Compaq Fortran & Vista

I found the solution fortunately:

It's enough to do a right click on the bottom: "Developer Studio" instead of double click, and select: "Run as Administrator" , then select: "Allow" and so on..

Try it, it works!
