Yes hold the memory at a 45 degree angle then it just slots in and clips down, it fits different to standard pc memory.

Can I install microsoft office 2007 on acer aspire 3680 ?

As far as compatibility is concerned, YES you can install Office 2007 on your computer. The only factor that would limit you is the amount of RAM you have on the computer but since you have Windows Vista, I would assume that this computer has 1GB or more of system memory.

This is just a secondary concern, though. If you have any lower than 1GB of RAM (possibly due to shared video memory), the application will still run except not as fast as you would like it to.

We have an aspir e3680 that only shows 502 ram. We have a printer that needs 512 ram to operate. What are the solutions?

According to these specifications, you can install more memory in this laptop. Unplug it, remove the battery first. Remove the access cover on the back which is held in with a small screw. You should see two slots that memory chips slide in to. Additional memory can be purchased over the internet or at retailers like Wal-mart, Best Buy and Office Depot. Hope this helps you. If you need more help, let me know.

Memory upgrade for Acer Aspire 3680

Each memory slot can hold DDR2 PC2-5300 with a maximum of 1GB per slot so you can install modules one at a time, and you can mix different densities of modules in your computer. But if your computer supports dual-channel memory configurations, you should install in identical pairs (preferably in kits) for optimal performance How much memory your Windows OS will recognize depends on which version of Windows you are running. 32-bit versions of Windows will see (and utilize) only 3GB or 3.5GB. To utilize more memory, install a 64-bit version of your OS hope this helps pls appreciate by rating as fixyaa.thanks and Godbless.

RAM ON acer computers

Yes... just need to purchase the right stuff.

You need to determine if you have DDR or DDRII. And then determine if you have one stick of 512, or if you have 2 sticks of 256. Once you know this information, visit your local Best Buy or purchase somewhere online, a memory upgrade. Such as 2 sticks at 512mb for 1 gig total. Assuming you have two memory slots, should have anyway.

DDRII is fairly cheap right now, be a good time to upgrade. DDR on the other hand, is still a little more expensive.

Memory/Graphic problem

This might have something to do with DVMT or Digital Video Memory Technology. Basically, the amount of video memory is dependent on the amount of memory installed. I'm not very familiar with acer system BIOS but try to look for VIDEO under system BIOS and try to select any fixed video memory if possible. you can also try to disable DVMT.
