Hi i have no pic and the light blinks 10 times. where can i find the error codes.

Mine does the same thing and it works fine. It may be using any remaining power to shut completely down.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.....

Check and replace damaged component/s at it main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Do asearch by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

Tv truns on then turns off
if model indicated do the self check it has:

On front of set when green light for power goes out press and hold both the menu and input (source) buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds and release both buttons.

Power light will then blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks, 2 blinks a pause and repeat it for a total of 5 times.

If set has been unplugged you must plug it back and try to get set to turn on--unplugging clears the errors.

Let me know what error you find and I will tell you what it means.

Hello i have a sony kv 27v65. i have no pic or sound and the standbye-timer light will bilnk 10 times,break then four times and it keeps blinking the four times. it does the 10 only when you first plug it...

It can be repaired if you are handy with electronics stuff repair and can replace parts in circuit board with proper tools.

replace the sustainer boards should correct this problem. New sustainer boards may cause red and green pixilation. If this happen, replace control board and TV is as good as new.

Pixels are breaking up. I have had no problems with this TV but today the picture started to break up. It looks like the pixels are not working. It will break up and then be okay for a moment. Then start again. Anyone else know why this happens or have a similar problem?
