Question about Citizen Eco-Drive BL006056H Wrist Watch

1 Answer

My problem is my Citzen Eco Drive works but the WR100 seems to be off. I under the theory of WR as opposed to water proof but, should it really be getting foggy under the crystal after i wash my hand? On a smaller note, how do i set the calender so it actually changes correctly with the day? Thank you in advance.

These water proof watches are only water proof if the knob for setting the time is pushed all the way in. Try to call your Citizen dealer, if you read them the numbers on the back yhey can see if there is warranty to check the problem for free.

I have a men's Citizen Eco-Drive WR 200. Why does my digital time accuracy differ by 2 mins from the analog setting? Thank you, Wayne

The analogue time can be set to agree with the digital time by following their instruction manual.

If you go to http://www.citizenwatch.com/COA/English/settings.asp and follow the instructions, you can download the ones for your watch.

Oil all over wrist watch - can it be cleaned?

hi, if the watch is water proof witch most watches are, if it is it should tell you something on the back like wr 30m or wr 10m if it says this on the back then this is telling you that the watch is water proof up to 10metres or what ever it says if this is the case then you can put it in the sink with only slightly warm soapy water then just rub it over gently with soft cloth whilst under water.

How ever if it says water resistent then this dont mean its water proof this just means its rain proof but not made for going under water unless it says water resistent to 30m then this can be washed in the sink also if it dont say this then you cant put it in the sink you can only wipe over it with a damp cloth to remove as much oil as possible.

But if you can get it clean and its not water proof then the watch is going to have to be taken apart to clean the outer casing that is only if the oil has not got inside the watch.
Oil wont short the watch out put it can cause problems if you have any buttons on the watch so your best bet would be taking it into a watch shop and get it cleaned that way.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Citizen Eco-Drive

Could be that the watch inside and outside numbers do not match. If the dial says Eco Drive, that should be the first step. Next, find out about the 4 digit number that tells you which type we are looking at. You may want to open the back and look at the number on the watch internals. But be aware you may damage the water proof seal in doing so.
Really, you should write down all numbers you can see and send an email to citizen. They will help you.
If you need to know more about the Eco Drive, look for detail tech manuals for all types here: http://www.citizenwatch.com/downloads/tech/tech.htm
Those are great watches as long as you remember it needs light to charge.
