My Insignia tv has a green tint to the color.

The color correction options in the menu are limited and I can't figure out how to get the color corrected. I can only seem to get yellow, blue and an overall green tint.

Turned on computer today and my screen is blue green, does not change using monitor buttons?

Sounds like you are using an analog standard VGA cable interface. Since the menu has the correct coloring, it is not the monitors fault. Check the connections of the video cable at each end to ensure they are tight and not kinked. If they are ok, try using a different video cable. If thew problem still exists after that, it is probably the video card in the computer.

Color and tint looks different. There is a green hue to the screen, and adjusting the tint and color does not help.

There is a problem with the connectors desoldering in the tv. My mother in laws tv did this after 2 months. Should be warranty issue if less than year old

The screen has a permenant green tinge which dominates all other colours. If watching football the grass insted of being bright grass colour green is more of a dull drab green

It could be the tint settings on your TV. Check your TV's settings menu for color/tint options. If you can't find it, break out the manual and look in the index for tint or color, then locate the page and it'll tell you how to get there.

Make sure the tint slider is in the middle, 0 or 50%, depending on your TV.

Best of luck.

I can't seem to correct a tint problem. The tv turns on and the tint doesn't change. A friend says it could be a vidoe card?

Go to menue on controller, then Picture, then adjust Color and Tint to you taste. The color ajusts Blue and Green move left more blue move the slider right more green. The Tint controlls red. More red move right less left. Also chech Color temp setting.

Green tint I can't seem to fix

Hopefully someone on here has a manual and can tell you exactly where the tint controls are. Also need to try adjusting the color level, turn it clear down so you have a black and white picture.
Is the picture still green over the screen with the color control
set clear down to black and white? If it does, you might
have an issue with the green gun going out or problem in the
circuitry to it.

By the way, the best way to adjust the picture settings on a
tv are to first turn the color control clear down, then adjust
brightness and contrast for best black and white picture, then
bring up the color level to where it should be and adjust the
tint for best red/green ratio.
