Question about Sanyo DS27820 27" TV

Video mode I can't find my remote and my tv is stuck on video mode. When I go into menu I'm only able to change the language and color. How do I get it out of video mode?

I just bought this same TV at a yard sale today. There was no remote and it had the same problem. I used autoprogrtam feature of my cable remote to use the TV part of the that remote. With that remote I was then able to change video inputs and access all the menus properly. Good luck, Dan

Definitely, the TV sound is not the problem. Otherwise, it would not have sound at all. So use your TV remote go to the Menu and select Sound, and then, Sound Language and make sure it is set to "English", as your preferred language.
Also, Under the Sound menu option, select the Sound Mode and press the RECALL to change it to factory settings.

Can't change language on tv
As far as the Banner goes, go into menu, shut off "store mode" or "demonstration mode". Language change should not be stuck.

I have Skyworth Lcd and it was stuck on Language screen 4 days back, i've tried every sigle App and Different Universal Remotes and buttons on Tv but nothing was working except a single App named "SURE UNIVERSAL REMOTE FOR TV"
i suggest if someone face this Language screen stucking problem and no buttons and remotes are working then you should download this App on your Cell phone and select your tv and you'll surely be able to restore your Tv.

Got a Sanyo DS25320 and using a universal remote. The screen is blue and says Video and when I hit menu it only gives me the option of auto/ manual/ game or language, can not get to the other selections....
The tv universal remotes are having very limited options in functions and tv universal remotes are only work correctly are like buttons power on/off volume up/down and channels up/down.Menu button and a Video setting option modes functions setting are another story all together.These two functions Menu button and Video setting modes funtions will not work correctly in any tv universal remotes.Because these Menu and Video setting modes are belong into the internal setting of the tv itself.It will only work correctly with the tv original remote only.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote to use.

Universal remote alway work only the basic for the tv.Beyond that will have problems or stuck in some input or modes.Sorry i can't help u, because i don't know what is the reaction to ur tv by the universal remote,must use the universal remote again tries all the buttons like video modes or input botton.Or take the battery out like 20 mins of the universal remote to erase ur tv codes enter it again.Tries those buttons u pushes before,see if u can get out the video mode.All else fail.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote to use.

There should be a button on the TV "INPUT" press to change sources. It should be on the front lower center of TV, slide panel to expose if required. Put new batteries in remote.

TV screen on video 2 and remote died
The only way your going to change the video mode is with the original remote. If you need another remote go to http://remotes.com or call 1800 remotes Theres a button on the upper left hand side of the remote called video mode. A universal most of the time will not work this function. You could ask around to your friends and buddies or relitives if anyone has a working Sanyo remote or go to a local retailer that sells Sanyo and see if he would let you borrow one for a little while so you can switch out of the video mode. Good Luck
