Your burner program wants to make an image so the video can be played in a DVD player. If the format is not correct it don't want to burn the disk. Please read the manual from the burner program, or press the F1 key before you start. I hope they inserted some help in the program.
Check that the burner is finalizing the discs. This can be set in Roxio or in the optical drive properties. In Windows 7, right click on the optical drive, choose Properties, then the Recording tab. Then the Global settings lets you choose to finalize the disc on eject. Try a different brand of DVD+R and check that the other players support DVD+R discs. (I know some DVD players only support DVD-R.)
Hello there:
In order to burn any cd you first need a program to burn with.
roxio is one of the better burning studios that is out their. if your computer is new i would suggest refering to the users manual for further assistance the program may all ready be loaded on the computer. ok?
best regards mike
it all depends on wot u used to burn it, and wot type of dvd player u have, there r diff ways to get it to play, on a normal dvd player u will either need to encode the movie file into a vcd and put it on a cd or encode to dvd format and burn it onto a dvd using programs like nero or roxio
I had the problem of burned CD's not playing in my car. I used a CD-R and burned it at "slow" burn rate. Now I don't have a problem with playing the cd's in my car player. Try it, it worked for me.
