Question about Samsung SCH-i730 Pocket PC

Samsung battery As I charge my battery the light is blinking different colors. It also was on the charger all night & didn't charge. Can someone explain what the different colors mean?

    My phone knows that it's plugged in (there is an indicator on the top of the homescreen) but the charger's LED is not even on. It did blink red once when I removed and replaced the battery, but I can't get this to happen again.

What Does The Flashing Orange / Amber Light On My i730 Cradle Indicate?
A blinking orange or amber light on your cradle normally indicates a bad connection between your phone and the cradle. Anytime you see an orange light on the cradle, we recommend reseating the phone in the cradle. The light indicators on the cradle are as follows:

  • Green - Fully Charged
  • Red - Charging State
  • Orange/Amber - Improper connection, battery not charging.

I just bought a nimh AA>AAA charger & batteries for my field cams, I was able to charge all 4 batt twice and now the charger blinks red and indicates bad batteries. its only two months old.
If you use a fast charger, or a power charger, that can be the cause of your trouble. I used to charge with different power chargers till I learned they push every battery over its limits. After at least 3 different power chargers and about 100 defective batteries, I now charge my batteries with normal slow chargers. Before I can go on a shoot, sometimes 8 slow chargers are charging a whole night. But since I stopped using the power chargers I never lost a battery on overcharging (actually overheating)

I have a skyforce gravity r/c helicopeter trying to fix for my son.When it is plugged in the charger, it just blinks green light. Have it over night, and it is still just blinking green. Have lost remote....
It means that the charged battery is full. Some chargers have a steady glow, others have a flashing light to show that the battery is charged. When you run the helicopter, is the battery fully charged, does the helicopter blades spin flat out? If so, the battery is charged and the flashing light indicates the battery is charged. If the battery isn't charged or the blades don't spin enough to lift the helicopter, or fly for some time, then the battery isn't charged and the charger may be faulty. Take it to a hobby shop to see where the problem lies, the charger and its blinking light, or the battery.

Plugged in to charge battery, red light flashing, no green light on, charged all night still flat, what could be the problem.
Hi. Sounds like there is no connection between the charger and the batteries. The charger uses the voltage in the batteries to regulate the charge. If the charger is not connected then the charger will not operate at all.
The fault can be a broken wire in the charger plug, or faulty charger socket on the scooter. Can be caused by faulty battery connectors, or wiring from the charger socket to the batteries.
Try moving the charger plug in the socket while the charger is operating. These sockets sometimes wear and dont contact properly.
The best way is get someone with a multi-meter and try and trace the fault for you.

My Duracell battery charger has a blinking red light.Use to be a constant red then green when it was charged. Now, just red..then blinking red..then not at all.
I had the same problem with flashing red lights. Both sides on a four battery charger. I swapped the batteries to another charger and the batteries were fine. They charged normally. I put some different batteries in the charger and the same flashing light situation. Those batteries also charged normally in a different charger. I looked closely at the back of the charger and, low and behold, "made in China". Why does that not surprise me. The bottom line, it may not be a battery issue.

My ds lite won't charge.. the orange light appeared blinked
We had this problem with a brand new DS Lite...turns out it was a bad charger. If you have access to another charger, try that first. Good luck!

SCH-i730 doesn't charge . I cant even turn it on with a usb cable attached. I got a new battery and it worked well untill the charge died. Cable is good and it did sync my phone to the PC but still even when the phone was on it didn't charge it.
