Samsung NV10 - 4 bleeps on switching on then turns off

My Samsung NV10 has been working perfectly for the past month. Yesterday it stopped mid use and now the lens is out, and everying time i press the power button, the camera gives 4 bleeps and switches off. If i press the play button i can still scroll through my pictures and the buttons are still responding, but i can't use it. Any advice Thanks

My camera is the Samsung NV10.

I have the same problem, and the 'focus part' stayed openned, impossible to closed and doing pics.

Any news about it?

Been shooting at the beach or high sea. There is prob some salt/sand inside your lens. If you gently slide a piece of paper with some strength (be shure it does not rip off inside your lens) in between the moving part of the lens. Turn on your cam and gently slide the paper around the lens. In my case this always works. I turn it on and off again if the lens is out a few times repeating theprocess and now it is fully opperational again.

Listen!! this is a homemade fix. to unsure good usage along time let samsung repair it because the sand is still in there !!!

I was able to contact the manufacturer who repaired my camera under warranty. They were wonderful to work with and my camera was only out of my hands for 10 days, out just before Thanksgiving and back just after! Amazing for a holiday time frame.

Downloading Digimax Viewer 2.0 This program gets my pictures from my camera to my computer. I was using it yesterday when it stopped working. The desk icon was blank and after trying to find the software everywhere I decided to download it again. I got an error message that said I was missing a stwa.DLL file and it couldn't continue. What do I do to fix this problem? I am not real computer literate so you have to draw me a picture. Thanks for your help.
