Epson c1100 Dear Partners i have one problem with epson Akulase c1100 error message is replace toner C . I have installed new toner but same message. does it exists any solution . Regards Hysen

Yes, they do make this model, I'm using one now. I had the same problem

The solution for me was to clean inside of printer thoroughly, with the C (or whatever) cartridge removed. The sensors get dirty.

First of all they dont make a c1100 laser printer. If you have downloaded the latest firmware and installed that and it does not work, then try another toner cartridge.

I keep getting a message on the printer saying install C TnrCart Ive repeated the process twice and installed a new toner but it keeps saying it?

Epson C1100 toner detection is based on freq. your chip on the toner might be old or faulty.
The toner does not have contact point.. at the right side of the printer, there is a receiver, and at the side of the toner, there is a round chip..

Receiving error message E511 Unit has new photoconductor unit, as well as all 4 toner cartridges. When unit is opened and photoconductor removed, there are massive amounts of black toner (blobs of toner...

The "Service Req E511" error message means that part of the photoconductor unit called the transfer belt is not being detected. How to change the balck toner only in the epsom aculator c1100 showing K toner low, but blue at the place the black should be?

Epson C1100's show toner low for a long time before it actually needs replacing (usually have another 500 - 1000 copies left). This is to give you time to order a new one. When it is completely empty you will get a message saying replace K toner and the cartridge will be moved into the front position ready to remove it. If you really must replace it before it is empty let me know and I will try to explain how to do it, although it is quite involved.

How to install toner chip on epson c1100

The toner chip is situated on the end of the toner cartidge - it's a circle, about 1.5cm in diameter.
They may have given you a new housing, in case you damage the one currently on your toner, when you try to remove it.

You need to remove the cyan cartridge, and thoroughly clean the inside of the printer (please use proper printer cleaning kit, not a damp cloth!). The sensors can get crudded up with loose toner inside the machine.

Solution to epson c1100 error message

Turn printer off and remove photoconductor unit, close covers and turn printer back on without photoconductor, error will appear that you need to install photoconductor, install photoconductor and wait til it calibrates, if same error appears photoconductor is a consumable part you will have to replace it then.

Black Toner replaced

Replace Toner with gen cartridge.

Or Take cartridge back as faulty after checking that it was opened and installed correctly.

Check display on printer for indications that maybe it needs one of the 3 colour toners indicators are Y,C or M

K is black

Epson c1100

you may have replaced the cart with a faulty one. It does happen occasionally. Get another cart and swap that one also. If the error clears, return the original full cart for a refund as faulty. If the error does not clear you may have a problem with the receiver on the C dev and it will need an Engineer.
