Sony TV showing an info bar that won't go away. Shows five options for Digital Noise Reduction, Live Color, USB Play, HDMI x2, and PC Input. It shows at the bottom of the screen for awhile, then flips to the top for awhile, and goes back and forth. The only thing that is plugged into the TV is the DirecTV cable. I've tried changing my visual settings, but can't figure it out. There's nothing on my remote that will make it go away either. Anybody?

Sony KDL-40NX711 HDMI PORTS STOPPED WORKING. EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS FINE. WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS TO HAPPEN?

Sounds like everything works. Your remote has an input menu. Have you cycled it around to the right component? i.e. HDMI1 or HDMI2, or DVD, even PC?
If not, try that.

HDMI [High Definition Multimedia Interface]. VGA [Video Graphics Array]. AV [Audio Video]. By these definitions itself talk to you about the inputs your TV have; and it do not support VGA. Output from PC is VGA. Without a VGA input with the TV, you can't connect the PC to TV. I think I'm clear. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

TV doesn't recognize HDMI with Roku

The Roku is the problem, not the TV. You need to go to the Roku site and request download information to synch the Roku to an HDMI input.

I cannot show pictures on my tv from my sony 120 . I have the cords and the input on the tv but nothing happens when I try to show them???The manual suggest to delete the usb port???

Hi,

You can either use the supplied A/V and USB Multi connector cable for connecting the Camera to the TV. Connect the Yellow cable to the Yellow port on the TV for Video and the Red and White for audio. Then select the proper input on the TV where the cable is connected.
You may also connect the HD Out of the Camera to the HDMI Input on the TV using the compatible HDMI cable for the Camera.
Before connecting the Camera to the TV, you may have to change the settings in the Camera depends on the TV type.
1. Component Settings from the Main Settings 2 Menu of the Camera should be set to HD or SD depends on the connection. Also depends on HDMI (HD) or A/V (SD) video connection.
2. Video Out Settings from the Main Settings 2 menu of the Camera should be set to NTSC or PAL depends upon the color system of the TV.
Try changing the settings in the Camera and connect it to the TV to view the images.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Hello. Do not use HDMI for this purpose, instead go to Walmart and get a usb cord that plugs into your tv. Then use the remote control for your TV to push input and locate your computer, usually at the bottom of the list. Regards, Joe

Onkyo HT-S6100 to OPPO Dv 980H to Sony Bravia KDL 40W4100

Make sure none of the Digital or Component Input Assignments are programmed, if you're not using them. Set them to "----". This may help. Some of the Component input assignments may over-ride your other input assignments (perhaps even the HDMI input assignments).
