Please don't dismantle your DC25 any further than this as you could caused damage not covered under our 5-year warranty.

We can't provide instructions on dismantling the cleaner head, and would advise against attempting to do so as this procedure should only be carried out by a Dyson engineer. Dismantling the cleaner head will also void your 5-year warranty.

you will find it hard to obtain dismantle instuctions for any laptop, dismantling laptops is mostly trial and error and takes carefull planning.
the best way to dismantle a laptop is draw a diagram as you take it appart, this is beacuse the amount of screws so you have to take notes pertaining to where they came from aswell as other hardware like mini-pci cards etc.

Download it, extract it, run it, scroll to page 57-74 for disassembly.

First, you need to find out what is causing the shutdown problem.

Most likely since you have this laptop for 3years now and (i am assuming you havent had this serviced). You might be suffering from overheat problems since you are using a DESKTOP P4 cpu.

Try to dismantle your laptop and remove the Fan and Heat sink. CLEAN them and put new thermal paste to the cpu.

Do that and see if this fixes the problem. If not, let me know again
