go to the manufactures website and download the user manual and look in the trouble shooting guide for a possible answer if you cant find one I would call back the engineer and ask him to give you an answer as the machine worked before he fitted the new rubber, good luck eric

Hi there, we too have a similar problem. Our new door handle part has arrived but we are having huge problems fitting it as we cant prise the grey outer trim off the door and thus can't get in to put the new door handle in.
Please help! How can we get the trim off without resorting to serious damage with a screwdriver!!!?
No nuts. The screws fit into the plastic electric door mechanism which, after you took the screws out, will be hanging iside the machine. Either take the lid off to access or, easier but a bit fiddly, is to feel for it (with your left hand) through the rubber drum seal. With a bit of manipulation you will see the screw holes and door catch appear; line them up and replace screws and plastic facia. I did the same thing and learned not to unscrew anything without knowing what it's there for!!!
you just need to mop up the water inside the cabinet to allow the float switch in the base to reset.check there is nothing stopping the float returning to the floor. a small leak from the door seal can cause enough of a leak to trip it . clean the door glass and seal to stop this. or change the door seal.
The lock is rubbish on this machine but as a temporary measure you can feed a string down behind the door lock from the top and out the bottom. Then yank it to the left to open the lock. It will take a few tries but you get the hang of it!
We got sick of this so ordered a new lock off the net. I basically had to break the old mechanism to fit the new one because the door layers were so strongly glued together. Now fitted, the lock works perfectly but the machine thinks the door's open the whole time! Next step is either new door or new machine. Great.
