Samsung HT-Z310T keeps telling me ''connecting ipod'' but never con

I've just been struck down with this too on my newly purchased MM-E460D. I think I've worked it out, its just a poor description and manual. iPod mode" means choose the music off the iPod via a connected TV whereas "Remote iPod" is choose the music off the iPod via the Samsung remote and also directly from the iPod interface. I've been there for days trying to get "iPod mode" to work via the iPod interface.

According to the manual I see the HT-Z310 doesn't support bluetooth connection to external devices.

this is a simple problem with a simpler solution.there must be dust particles clogged in your dvd player particularly in the laser area which is causing the problem.clean it by opening the player or get it cleaned by an expert.

it is a known product defect. samsung will fix it for you if you send them a lot of money. this helps them keep their prices low.

If you carry around your iPod everywhere like I do you may have some contacts that are not making contact (dirty). Try cleaning them or the contacts on the samsung, a eraser may work on it.

I was able to solve the wireless speaker problem through unplugging all of the units and starting over. I need to have the signal go from the satelite box to the recioever then the TV in order to get home theater to work.

The Samsung HT-Z310T is a DVD player, not a recorder, that is why you are getting an error when inserting a blank disc
