How to disarm DFS alarm How to disarm DFS alarm Disarming alarm Upon entering your vehicle and within the ENTRY DELAY TIME set within the DFS alarm Menu, attach your Pioneer Detachable face. If you have forgotten the Detachable Face Panel: If the STARTER DISABLE is ON, insert the ignition key in the ignition within the ENTRY DELAY TIME, then turn the key from OFF to ON 5 times within 1 minute. If the starter disable is OFF, insert the ignition key in the ignition and turn the key from OFF to ON within the ENTRY DELAY TIME. CAUTION: If the starter motor will not run, the cause may be the DFS alarm. To check whether the DFS alarm is cause, try switching the position of the switch installed according to the AVOIDING TROUBLE section of the installation manual. If the DFS alarm is the cause of the trouble, then the starter motor will run. In case, confirm DFS alarm operation in safe place. If there is no problem, switch back to its original position. If left at the newly switched position, some functions of the DFS alarm will not operate. If the starter motor will not run after switching the switch, something other than the DFS alarm may be causing the problem. Have the vehicle checked at a nearby dealer. ----------------------------------------------- Select the DFS alarm feature ON/OFF mode (alarm ) in the initial setting menu. Press the arrow (up) button to switch the DFS alarm feature ON. Press the arrow (down) button to deactivate the DFS alarm feature. Press FUNCTION button for 2 seconds to enter the DFS alarm setting menu These are a couple of things I found to fix this problem. Here is the link that I got them from: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/support/knowledgebase/0,,2076_310069579,00.html Hope this helps:) Jason

How do i set the clock on a pioneer deh-p4000 supertunerIII

In the far right corner is the "A" (Audio) button.

Turn the stereo off and hold the "A" button until the clock comes on.
The hour will be blinking.
Use the up and down "Select" keys to set that.
Then use the right "Select" key to switch to the minutes. Use the up and down keys to set the minutes.
Push the "A" button when you're done

I can't figure out how to put my pioneer deh 10 in auxiliary mode. I bought one of those audio cables to plug in the red and white jacks in the back, and connect my mp3 player, and I can't figure out how...

Sorry, but I don't think you can use the rca's for an aux-in. I bought a deh-10 new and there is nothing in the owners manual that even mentions useing the rca's for an aux-in.
Used it long enough to opperate it in the dark and nothing in the setup menues for changing those rca's from outs to ins.

Clock

To set the clock on a Pioneer head unit:
Hold the 'Source' button until the unit powers off.
Hold the 'Function' button until an item appears on the screen and starts flashing.
This is the 'Initial Settings' menu, where you can set the clock and more depending on the head unit model.
Press and release the 'Function' button to switch between options in this menu and use the left/right/up/down arrows to adjust settings for any option.

I try to fix my pioneer deh2300, but no sound.....

If you have verified that indeed all the wires are connected as to where they are supposed to be connected, pls try:
1. Activating Internal Speaker to ON in the DFS Alarm Function'
2. the brown wire (or whatever color wire it is that is to be attached to a mobile phone) must not be connected to anything;
3. try all sources, AM, FM, CD;
4. check that none of the speaker wires is grounded.

Pls post back for any developments or the lack of it.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
