Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use ACDsee or any other photo cataloging program.
You should be able to transfer pictures without any extra drivers/software. If I'm not mistaken this model uses mass storage driver... It should show up as a drive letter under "My Computer". It should show as normal hard drive, similar to a flash/thumb drive.
this model not support it, To do that, you need to connect to pc and transfer it. As long you inserted the SD card, IT will use memory from SD card and not display image, video from built in memory. if you want to delete file in built in memory, you need to remove memory card.
You can buy battery replacement for this unit from any electronic store near your area like best buy, or radio shack or you can get it from this online store , by the way the price range for the battery is $10 - $20.
do you have the ability to attempt transfering the pictures onto another computer
maybe its just that computer
what type of card reader are you using
is it factory installed or aftermarket
try installing a different card and see it you can transfer pictures from your camera to the computer then
maybe its a file type(format)problem
theres what i have good luck
let me know how it goes
Maybe you need a movie playback application that should be installed on your computer that supports the file format of the video from the camera. I believe the video file format from the camera is mpeg. You may try Quicktime player whick also works with Windows.
