Locked to Network Problem.

I have a mtorola KRZR K1. I bought this particular phone because it's cheap but it is locked to their network. That network is new and is not connected to the existing mobile network (interconnectivity problem). Thus, I urgently need to unlock this problem to use in the existing network. Can somebody give me a solution for this? Thanks Wesco

My motorola krzr k1 is locked to the new service provider and I can only use their Sim-card to use in their network to communicate with others who are also using their network. There is no interconnectivity yet.

My problem is that, I want to unlock the motorola krzr so that this phone will be able to accept other Sim-cards which will then allow me to use in the existing networks.

Note that the service provider can not unlock it because they will know that Iam planning to use other service providers.

Sounds like your phone may need to be re-activated. Just call your service provider, they should be able to give you the steps for re-activating your phone. It's simple. Hope this helps!

K1 KRZR by motorola - network unlock / subsity code

I also have a KRZR. From all the research I have done there is no way to unlock it with the IMEI no. I have tried several times. Went to our local flee market and found someone that unlocks cell phones. He tried everything except a test point. He would of had to cut into the phone and then couldn't guarentee that would work.

Motorola K1 KRZR Unlocked but wont connect to 850 network.

you can do a manual band selection

From the main screen, select Main Menu.
Scroll to and select Settings.
Scroll to and select Network.
Scroll to and select Network Setup.
Scroll to Band.
Press the Center Select key.
Select one of the following:
- Automatic
- 850/1900
- 900/1800
Select Done.
