SOURCE: When everything is set to come on,the oven will not come on.

Make sure the glow bar ignitor is working in the oven.
They can glow and still be bad because of poor resistance.

SOURCE: amana ACS3350AS stove temp in oven stays at 100

We had the same problem and it turned out to be a burned out lower heating element. Only the top one was heating and I could never get it over about 150deg or so.

SOURCE: Oven will not heat - lights on panel do work

I keep having the same issue with mine, but if I go to the fuse box and flip the breaker off for about 10 seconds and then back on, it works fine. Obviously this isn't a permanent fix but it gets my stove working again for a couple of days usually. I have not been able to find anything on this issue until I saw your post.

SOURCE: GE Range...oven problem. Oven turns on but doesn't

Check resistance of lower burner ignitor. Should be above 4ohms. If not, replace. Part 40-75$ + labor. Let me know if info helps- ED

How to preheat oven

Hello, Cristina -

Since you have not stated the make and model of your oven, all I can advise is for you to turn your oven on and set it to the desired temperature and wait for 10 - 15 minutes until the oven comes up to the full heat temperature.

You can read the instructions here, if you wish:

Best wishes.

Magic chef oven/stove top range not staying hot

Hi, It very well could be the ignitor. Sometimes they work at first and then will not open the gas valve later in cycle. You can set the oven to heat and watch the ignitor. If it glows and the gas will not ignite in 30 to 45 seconds, the igniter is getting weak. I jope this helps.
Please let me know if I can assit you further.
