Question about Alpine MRD-M605 - V12 MONO AMP 600WX1 RMS 2 OHM Car Audio Amplifier

1 Answer

I need to know how to remove the circuit board out of an Alpine MRD-605 amplifier. I need to solder the RCA plugs because they have become loose on the board. Please help. I get it to almost come out but something is still keeping it from being removed.:(

First take all the screws out of the back of the amp when that is done there will be about 6-7 screws holding the board in place. Then you have to remove all the screws for the mosfets on the outside edges of the amp but make sure not to smear any of the heat transfer tape or heat transfer gel that is under the mosfets and then you should be able to take the board right out

yes you have a internal fault of the amp. the circuit that puts it into safe mode is bad and that is a very small chip on the board know as a op amp. needs to be repaired.

Hi SPDGOD,

Could not find exact, but close manual.  It is the MRP-M450 mono block amp from alpine.

Go to this url and view in Adobe. Print it if you need to

RCA inputs bad

If you got the exact same ones, you should be able to simply pit them back into the same holes. if you did not get the same ones, look at the open holes, two should be connected together, and two are separate. Hook the two that are connected together to the ground part of the jacks, and the middle connections of the jack to the other two holes. if this does not make any since, send a picture of the jacks and the board so we can look at it for you. Good Luck
