My ssangyong rexton 2.7 ! do speedometer is reading 7 to 8 mph slower than my Sat nav what can be wrong and how can I fix it

calibrate the sat nav unit. Check that you have the correct tyre sizes as stated on the specs plate on the door or pillar . If the tyres are incorrect then the speedo reading will be out and what you have stated indicates incorrect tyre sizes

Manual nav-40

Hi!

Here's the link to your manual (pdf)
http://www.standardhorizon.com/?cmd=showMarineManuals&DivisionID=3

Scroll about halfway down the page and you'll find portable GPS. Your unit is there.

Hope this helps.

GPS 40 will not finish aquiring signal

make sure the gps have a full view of the sky. leave it in aquiring mode and let it sit there. My Emap took up to 35 mins once to reaquire the sats and get the updated info needed for position info.
if the unit has been off for a long time or moved a long distance from where it was last turned on, it can take a while for it to come back up.

Wont calculat route

sat nav needs a valid gps signal to start calculating route, even if it found entered address. Address is searched on built-in map, not live gps position. That means, sat nav may have problem with gps signal. Try to reset device to its factory settings first. hope this helps

I have been having the same issue. I have both the Topo and City Nav software. I seems more consistent when using the City Nav data. Changed microSD cards brand and still the same issue. I was told to also update to 2.60, but it did not help
