Right out of the box I juiced 3/4 of one carrot and it tripped. I thought maybe something was out of balance so I dis-assembled it and re-assembled it again being careful to ensure everything was center correctly. Just starting the motor and letting it run for about 45 seconds trips the sensor. Should I just be returning this or is there some type of adjustment that I can make?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

There's nothing wrong. These juicers do not eject the pulp and go out of balance very easily. If you continue to have problems you may have to go for a different type of juicer. The Hurom or Omega VRT, expensive, look good if you're really into juicing.
This is the nature of the juicer, it does not eject the pulp, and they go out of balance very easily especially with a new blade installed. Only suggestion is juice only hard produce, and feed it as evenly and as slowly as possible. I juice apples, carrots and celery.
FIRST DUMP THE FILTERS, THEY DECREASE YIELD AND MAY CAUSE MORE VIBRATION. IF JUICER SHUTS DOWN PUSH RESET BUTTON ON BOTTOM. THIS TYPE OF JUICER DOES NOT EJECT PULP AND REQUIRES SOME TIME TO MASTER. FEED THE STUFF SLOW AND STEADY. WANT A GOOD JUICE? TRY 1 APPLE, 2 CARROTS, 2 CELERY AND A HALF LEMON. IF YOU ARE REALLY BRAVE YOU CAN FINISH OFF BY SLOWLY POURING 6 OR 8 OUNCERS OF WATER RIGHT DOWN THE CHUTE. THIS NOT ONLY DILUTES BUT LEECHES MORE JUICE OUT OF THE PULP. JUICE SHOULD BE DILUTED AND DRANK SLOWLY.
are you exceeding the capacity of the juicer? you will get about 2 and 1/2 large glasses of juice before the pulp fills the spinning basket. Apple peels are very tough, apples and tomatoes need to be peeled before juicing. Use the filters, the juice comes out much clearer and the juicer is easier to clean up. I so a lot of carrots, carrots are super food.
IT'S THE RESET BUTTON AND THEY ARE ADJUSTABLE. REMOVE 4 SCREWS UNDER JUICER TO REMOVE BOTTOM. YOU CAN GET AT THE RESET BUTTON HOUSING AND ADJUST THE SMALL SCREW EITHER WAY. YOU WILL HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHICH DIRECTION. CLOCKWISE OR COUNTER. IT YOU GET IT WRONG IT WILL CUT OUT MORE FREQUENTLY SO JUST GO THE OTHER WAY.
Hi, I have an Omega juicer, and I've never had this happen. I recommend that you double check to see if you have the right parts attached. It comes with two inserts, one with a small metal screen on the bottom, the other has no screen, it is solid. The solid one is for crushing and proccessing food. The one with the screen is used for juicing. Make sure you have the correct one installed.
If that is not the problem, I think perhaps the grass is too dry? Maybe there isn't enough moisture in it to extract much. I really can't say, though. Try juicing something else, like carrots, and see if you can get some juice there.
If all else fails, contact Omega at their website. They have terrific customer service. I've tested it already with a warranty replacement.
