No monitor power, no LED, repeating sound from monitor
This is an eMachines e15t4 LCD monitor, after around one year (with no damaging or harsh treatment) stopped powering on. The power cable is correctly plugged into the monitor and the wall, but it does not power on, no LED light at all. It does repeat a faint "click" or "twinge" sound every second or two like it's trying to power on, but nothing happens. Can you help?

no pc told. at all, sad.
turn on monitor last, see no signal error means PC is dead.
lightening hit damage is unlimited
only pulling AC line cord protect them all, I do so here.
You may have a bad pixel, unplug and disconnect video cable, now press and hold power for 2 minutes. Now plug everything back in place and start monitor, is dot is gone ? if yes! there was a static charge that caused the dot to appear, but if there was no change! you have a dead pixel no remedy.
first check for your head phone. Try to test it to other gadgets. if it is found o.k then if it is o.k, maybe the female connector ( the connector from the LCD monitor) has a defective contact. try to replace the female port of your LCD ask for a technical help. Hope this may help you
I have the same problem and I think its the circuit board on the power on button and blue led. I unplug the board when the monitor is on and then the monitor stays on and works OK.
It don't make any sence it is only 3 parts switch led connector
anybody else run into the problem
Sounds like windows resolution or refresh rate is too high for the 15" monitor. Try starting in safe mode and setting the resolution below 1024 X 768 and refresh at 60. Restart.
