Player says disk error

Unless there is dust on the lens that you can blow off with a can of compressed air there isn't much an end user can do about this error. It will take some diagnostic effort to determine the exact cause.

I Have The Same Model At Home Right Now.
When I Get That Problem, Its Usually The 'Small' Plastic Drive Gear Attached To The Electric Motor That Drives The Big Plastic Gear That Operates The DVD Itself. (Makes The Disk Spin In Other Words)

Turn It On And Load A DVD In The Player, If You Hear A Little [Grinding/Meshing] Sound, It Means The Drive Gear Has Slipped Down On The Electric Motors Shaft Causing The Unit To Flash "Not Loading"

Dvd player tell me disk error

this could be aproblem with the lens which is unable to read the disk. this could be caused by accumulation of dirt on the disk sensor. open up the cover of the dvd player to access the lense and clean gently with a lense cleaner(a liquid purposely meant for cleaning the lense) apply this liquid on a soft piece of cloth and clean. close back the cover and power the dvd player it should now be able to load the disk

When i tryt to play a dvd in my philips DVP3144 it keeps flashing load and wont play

Try a cleaning disk in the player to remove accumulated dirt from the laser eye. This accounts for 99% of load error and insert disk in player errors

I keep getting a Bad Disk error when loading DVDs that I know are fine. When there's no disk loaded, all I see is the blue load screen with the message "loading" in the upper left

there is a ribbon cable in the DVD player that connect the moving laser head to the main circuit board. When this cable becomes damaged from moving over time, it will claim that your DVD is bad (even though it is not). Best to scrap the player and buy a new one.

DVD will not load

Firs try to clean the lens with CD/DVD cleaning disk (it might be $1-5 depending on store)
Also check if DVD disk not upside down.
Also chek the DVD disk for scratches
Good Luck

you have dirty lens, try to cleaning with 100% cotton buds. or you have damage laser eye, or broken flex ribbon wire, but first you have to do is to cleaning the lens with cotton buds.. if not reading after you clean the lens! change the laser eye and flex ribbon wire.
