Greetings,
I had the same thing displayed when I was installing this item, just go ahead with the install anyway. All that warning means that kbgear interactive, the manufacturer of the tablet(which seems to have vanished from the Internet and has likely gone out of business. Heck, the Website listed on the device no longer has anything to do with the product.). Back to the point, for the install of this product do this. 1.)make sure the device is unplugged from your system's USB port. 2.)install the software. 3.)plug the USB device to your system and follow the instructions given. go ahead and click, "install anyway." 4.)Then install the software again even though you've just done the install. Follow the instructions as before. If the option come up to, "continue (or is it, 'install') any way" go and click o.k.
I have been having problems with the device's pressure senitivity. Once you've selected the option in your software to vary the width, or vary opacity, or vary density you should be able to notice some difference in one of those parameters based upon how much pressure you use downwards on the tablet, but you don't even though using recent software updates.
I've saaved the software update for so many years that I can't remember where I got it, but likely it is from the now seemingly-defunct KB Gear Interactive. If anyone has a fix to my pressure-related problem please tell me.
Thanks,
W G

I was given the Jam Studio tablet as a gift but without the software. I downloaded the driver from the link suggested in this topic but when I try to install it I get a warning advising that the software has not passed the Windows Logo testing for compatibility with Windows XP and installing it could destabilize my system, allow viruses.... etc. But I can't contact the company for a compatible driver. Any suggestions?
