Hi damirish I have also been experiencing problems with the Scan To Computer button. I am currently in dialogue with the HP "head technician" who is due to ring me tomorrow. I will let you know what my resolution is. Basically, my problem is that my network (I use a netgear router) and have one wired (XP Pro) and two wireless PCs connected to it - one Vista laptop and one XP laptop. For some strange reason, the wired PC is happily displaying the correct Scan to file, Word etc functions yet my two wirelessly connected (Not the the printer itself but via wireless router) PCs appear multiple times and when I try to scan something to these two laptops, I get all kinds of errors. Even after running the HP clean-up tools and rebooting and reinstalling the HP software (32 bit) I now am faced with problems whereby the C7180 is not even recognised by the HP "Solution Center". Sadly, despite it's marvellous printing quality, I am thinking this unit is going back to the HP factory for some serious overhauling. Again, I'll let you know if there is a resolution and hopefully HP will investigate why the Scan settings are so faulty. Regards Andrew from Adelaide, Australia

yes printer isworking fine but tells scanner device is not connected
I Have a Mac and am attached with 802.11g--when I select "scan to Computer" it tells me to troubleshoot---the troubleshooting on the HP site for this is ridiculously involved. Isn't there some scanner driver I can download? I can't scan from my computer
