Question about Kenwood KW85 Air Conditioner

KENWOOD KW85 Portable Air Conditioner - NO COLD AIR

Bought it NEW from a company back east in MARCH 2007. Worked GREAT when we got it, but had no need to use it until just recently. The thing turns on, but there's NO COLD AIR. It is plugged in, there is no blockage of the air intake, the "coils"/"grill" is clean, the thing is vented to the outside, the "water tank" is empty.... Am not able to drive 80 miles to my nearest repair center...

Kenwood KW85 Portable Air Conditioner

Using remote control "on" the unit, then push the C button of remote control, if the C display at the unit "off" the unit using also the remote control. Unplug the power supply then plug again and start the unit using the remote control.
It the instruction above don't solve the problem, the return air sensor is out of range or the main board of the unit itself is defective. You need a qualified tech with this problem.
