You will need to download on your wii the opera browser from wii ware (500 points).opera browser has its own parameters and slow to upload websites.in this sense it has its limitations unlike what you normally enjoy on you standard internet either using a desktop or laptop.

What do you mean by "normal" internet? If you download the full version of Opera's browser in the Virtual Console's "Wii Ware" section you can do lots of things that you couldnt in the demo version of the browser.

Wii mini doesn't hava a wifi module. Normal wii doesn't connect to WPA2-PSK TKIP secured routers, so you might need to change it to for example: WPA2-PSK AES.

You hook the wii up as normal. The wii needs to be able to connect to the internet. On bootup go to the wii shop, channels and download Netflix or Hulu Plus. (Sign up for those services seperately)

To get the Internet Channel for Wii, you must have an active network connection for your Wii. Then you need to go to the Wii Shop Channel. Here you will have to browse to find the Wii Internet Channel, and click to download. Once it is downloaded you can use the internet channel as normal. Have a great day.

hi there,
the best and easiest way to upgrade the firmware on your wii is to connect the wii to your internet and look for system update in the system settings and update that way. Altthough most games that need newer firmware come with the update installed on the disc, normally once you insert the disc it will tell you it need to update the system firmware in order for the game to work, so i'm not sure why this is not happening for you if your new games not playing. The only thing i can think of if it's not updating automatically is that the wii has been chipped/modded in some way, has it? If it has'nt just connect the wii to the internet you should be able to update it that way.

Sinec connectng wii to internet, the power button
this is standby mode and is perfectly normal. Once it connects to the internet and updates it will always do this. Its nothing to worry about.

just answered my question. all you have to do is re-test your internet connection on the wii if you were able to play other call of duty's on your wii. sorry for those people this doesn't help.=( Go to activision if this doesnt work

This is common for the Wii. This means that the Wii is connecting to the Internet, and receiving news, weather, and other updates to keep you updated. THIS IS NORMAL!!!!! It usually stays on and sometimes turns on and off multiple times, in a milli second. Sort of like when its flashing. NORMAL TOO PEOPLE!!

guinness world records does not need Inernet access because if it did, it would have had complaints. It can be used on the normal average wii module.

Try This I here it works. You don't visit http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp from the Wii that is locked, you go there using a PC.

On your Wii, when it asks for a password, I think you enter an incorrect one and then choose "I don't remember" for both options it gives you. It then displays a confirmation code that you would normally give to Nintendo over the phone and they would tell you the unique reset code for your Wii. Marcan's website saves you from having to call Nintendo since you can just enter the confirmation code and it will tell you your unique reset code.
