I am trying to find a parts list layout for a z830sb homelite. I purchased a replacement head but there seems to be an adapter missing at the base of the angle head.

Here is a web site with the diagram for you. you need to first go to this site: www.jackssmallengines.com. then, click on the parts database link near the top of the page. it will come up to a new screen where you have to click on another button to get into the parts diagrams part. from the drop-down menu, select Homelite Consumer products, then click the model number tab at the top of the page. type in "Z830SB" and hit enter and it should bring up a menu for you to choose which diagram you need to look at. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more help. I would just give you the exact site, but it will not load up if you don't go through the steps. thanks.

Missing the user's manual for Homelite ut20635r trimmer sold by sears

within the bump head (once opened) you will see add arrows, this indicates which direction you add the line, usually opposite to each other, you will have line hold points (4) within the cup. once you have fulled the cup head with line (octupus needed), thread each line through feeder holes and push line into housing making sure you pull line out through the feeder at same time as pushing into head. pold the hell out of everthing or it will go haywire. Vrey difficult, but after about 300 tries at it, you will still go to the dealer to do it. If you can make any heads or tales of my solution..good luck but its how you do it. Regards Russ

I need a gearhead for a homelite z830sb string trimmer. the part # is A04836C. Homelite no longer makes or stocks it. Apparently they don't think their products should last or can last 14 years. ...

I have seen exactly what you mean. The part is listed as obsolete and has been superceded by another part # UP06970 that is also out of stock NLA (no longer available). But somebody, somewhere on the net has one of these. These guys list it, but it is out of stock...at least it is not listed as no longer available. Your part is the gearhead at the top of this page. You can contact these guys for more information and when it might become available to you if they order you one. I know just how frustrating this is. Anyway, these guys list your part with the new part number.

Where can you purchase replacement parts for Husky HU80709A power washer purchased from Home Depot? Called Husky, who said they do not manufacture this pump and given 800 number for Ryobi. However, Home...

You use www.homelite.com part lookup for the HU80709. Homelite site doesn't list the a version but parts should be the same. www.jackssmallengine.com is excellent source for parts and is very reasonable on the parts.

I have a MightyLite weed eater - the plastic bobble has a crack. What are my options besides purchasing a new weed eater? Purchased at Home depot.

You don't have to purchase a new one. Parts for it are available. This online parts house is good. If you are saying you need the plastic bubble for the carburetor, it is here.

There are 3 models listed. They are listed in the 4th section of misc. parts and are items 9,10, and 11.
All the other parts for your machine are listed here too:

Need to replace pull cord on homelite z830sb

Start from the bottom and work your way up. This is not an easy repair. You have to almost completely dissassemble the entire blower to replace the cord. You will need a T20 and T25 torx tool, a 9/16' wrench or socket, 40" of #3.5 rope and about an hour. A repair shop will typically charge $20 to $40 in labor for this repair.

Is there a tube of off the gas cap to the tank. Seems like I am not getting enough gas to be primed.

You can find a typical fuel system and a couple of suggestions here:

Homelite/Ryobi.com (authorized parts supplier)

The IPL (exploded parts list) for your saw is the only detail for fuel line routing and it is sketchy at best; components are listed but may be on different illustrations.
https://www.gardnerinc.com/recons/disclaimer-lg.php - Agree; Choose “Product Line”; “Select OEM” & “Select Catalog” both to “Homelite Consumer Products”. A drop down list appears; self explanatory from here.
The numbers Homelite & Ryobi use do not match the numbers everyone posts. A careful inspection of your saw should find something that matches.

Hose can be purchased at any chainsaw outlet, Inquire about how much hose they recommend. I have not found a good hose stretcher and I have been looking. Good luck with your project. Any additional questions you may have can be asked below. I hope you found this most helpful.

How to remove clutch on model z830sb

The clutch interior must be turned the same direction as the engine to loosen (reverse threads), tapping with a screwdriver and hammer usually does the trick. When you install the new clutch make sure you apply an anti seizing compound to the threads.
