I have an MPC951 player and had to replace its hard disc recently. Though I got a new Toshiba MK2008GAL 20GB and was able to format it using my desktop, I do not know which are the exact system files to be transfered to the disc before connecting it to the player. When I connect the new HDD to the player, I get the error "HDD read error". Can you please let me know which are the driver files I need to keep in the -Sys folder and also any other missing files.I have an MPC951 player and had to replace its hard disc recently. I'm afraid I don't have a solution. I will see if I can copy those files from my player to my computer, and then I might be able to email them to you.
The only comment I can make is once my player started recording when I turned it on and I discovered I'd plugged the headphones into the wrong hole in the top. I'd plugged it into the line in and I believe it was trying to treat my headphones as Microphones! ((It detected some small signal and started recording "automagically"))

Re: simply not working
Easy fix, you have to open up the player, there is a cable that connects the hard drive and the circuit board, it becomes loose, please just reattach and try again.

Creating a new Admin on Mac Os X:
Here's how to reset your OS X password without an OS X CD.
the Working solution for me was to create a new admin
you can create new admin like this by deleting a specific file.
You need to enter terminal and create a new admin account:
1. Reboot
2. Hold apple key + s key down after you hear the chime.
(command + s keys on newer Macs)
3. When you get text prompt enter in these terminal commands to create a brand new admin account (hitting return after each line):
mount -uw /
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
shutdown -h now
4. After rebooting you should have a brand new admin account. When you login as the new admin you can simply delete the old one and your good to go again!
Uninstalling the printer should get rid of the cancelled file and reinstalling should allow the printer to work again. Updating the driver might help but I have noticed printers generally don't like being interrupted as they work. Cancelling a file once it has been sent to the printer is a recipe for trouble because these days printers have quite a large brain and converse with the computer - give something a brain and it will soon learn to think and get moods and become emotional.
It is a good idea to disconnect the printer from the supply for a while too...
This worked for me, when I had to reset the pw on my brothers mac pro.

Videos and photos are the best means to
cherish good old days. At times due to accidental deletion of photos
and videos or formatting of the memory card results in the loss of
important clip. However, you still don't have to worry as Kernel
for Windows Data Recovery tool provides you with a safe and risk-free
alternative to get back all the lost or deleted photos and video
files from memory card in every condition. For more info visit http://www.recoveryfiles.net/
You can try deleting the file while your in Safe Mode. Try booting your PC in Safe Mode first and then delete the file. If it still does not work, the best thing would be installing a third party application like Unlocker to actually delete the file. Unlocker can be downloaded here:
http://www.filehippo.com/download_unlocker/
To use Unlocker, simply right-click the folder or file and select Unlocker. If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear. Simply click Unlock All and you are done. Thank you.
