Got it from ebay brand new,but the first thing that i've noticed it was that the only 2 files that you are NOT suposed to delete were missing...tryed everything, reset, format, firmware upgrade...still not works
when i start it up..it jumps to recording and nothing works from there...if anyone has those files...or a solution..please help me
I'm afraid I don't have a solution. I will see if I can copy those files from my player to my computer, and then I might be able to email them to you.
The only comment I can make is once my player started recording when I turned it on and I discovered I'd plugged the headphones into the wrong hole in the top. I'd plugged it into the line in and I believe it was trying to treat my headphones as Microphones! ((It detected some small signal and started recording "automagically"))

It could be a DNS server error, try copying this 188.8.131.52 and then put it in the URL. If it works then you need to check some incorrect hosts files in your laptop.
how to check for hosts files:
Go to Search on your laptop. Set it to look in your hard drive and search for a file called Hosts
. Note that there is no extension on that file. If the results show up
with some files that have *.sam extension...those are not the right
Assuming you found the Hosts file on your computer, right click on it and go to Open With and select notepad.
If I were you I would just clear the entire thing and save it....or you
can scan through it to see if there is an entry for Ebay and delete that
line and then save it.
Hi ashlyn scott...
Try this method of deleting your album

ONE MORE BIG WARNING: BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER. Please take time to rate me thumbs up
This sounds like you've got one of three things happening:
1 - Your USB cable is dying slowly. Over time connections become seperated within the cable. This causes data loss and all sorts of funny errors. Try a different cable and see if that helps.
2 - Your USB plug is malfunctioning or underpowered. If you are attempting to use a USB 2.0 device on a 1.1 connection, errors may prevent you from doing what you want to do. Try a different USB port, see if that helps.
3 - Your MP3 player has a setting somewhere locking files to the device itself. If windows tries to delete a locked file, you will receive an error. Browse through the manual of your device or the settings on the device itself and see if there's a lock or protection or USB mode somewhere.
Because you're getting the "cannot read from source or disk" error, I am strongly geared towards #1. Get yourself a new cable and see if that doesn't solve the problem.
That is some corrupt files in action. Reinstall your Operating System (Windows) or install a new one (Linux). Make sure to back up any files that you have before reinstalling, as files will not be preserved during the process.
try to unlock it or reset it there shoulb be a very small hole on the back of it use something to put in there to reset it i try it i dont relly know if i works it justsomething i got off a website but i have delete all of the files off of mine and now it give me some problems because i delete my factory setsing or files so do NOT!! delete the files.
I had the same problem so I tried the thing on the website and it didn't work so I looked it up on Youtube and someone figured out how to do it. I tried it and I got all 60 minutes back. You should try this, it probably works.
PS instead of 5 nines it's 6 nines.
