This TV is just over a year old and for the last 6 months there has been an intemittent screen interference (multi colored snow storm fighting against the normal picture) now and then usually when first turned on its perfect then the problem starts and lasts for different periods of time usually hours. The TV has been moved to a different address and the same problem occured and i have turned off the TV speakers and bought a surround system just incase it was interference from the tv speakers. Its the same whether you are watching TV, Cable or DVD and is worse within the widesceen area Please help its driving me nuts.

lg plasma tv is not for a novice to play with. the three main circuit boards are control. y and z sustain and they are not repairable
find a shop that can replace the defective one for you.
There is a fault in the main processor that is causing noise. The set will have to be serviced. The tech will probably try the main video processing board to start.
Try to reset the TV to factory defaults and see if that helps. Record your color settings and any other setting your have in your config before dong this because all will be lost.
