Sony handycam DCR-TRV22E I can't burn my recordings onto DVD

I can't figure out how to play back my recoerdings onto the computer and then burn onto disc. Can anyone help me?

    I have vista.Vistadoesn't seem to be able to use the software.

    i don't have the manual but i am having the same problem i will like to see the video and print the pictures.

    do you still have the software that came with camcorder? what is the operating system of your pc are you using windows vista or xp?

You can connect your camcorder to your computer via ilink or firewire cable. connection is plug and play, no drivers needed, and the software that you need to use is windows movie maker. check he web if you do not know what firewire or ilink cable is.

There is no disc error come.First you format your disc from menu then use if still problem then may your disc problem try another one.

well what you need to do is take out the dvdr disc you recorded with then put in the computer and burn it onto a real DVD disc

Video cassette recording onto computer????
I contacted Sony and was told to use a firewire cable. Make sure that Firewire or i-link is installed on your computer. I use a laptop with Vista and this worked first time.
