Maybe mouse maybe vista maybe Toshiba

I will admit i'm not a computer guy first laptop first wireless mouse i don't know if my laptop will let me use a wireless mouse due to the touch pad or how to connect the mouse I hit the connect on the usb end it binks do it to the mouse nothing .like i said first for both sure could use a lil help thanks alot.

Check the mouse for batteries. Plug usb receiver into the usb plug. Turn mouse over and make sure switch is in the "on" position. That should do it..if not any questions you have let me know..

Unfortunately the wireless mouse on both computers are on the same wireless frequency. Unless you can change the wireless frequency on one of the wireless mouse and the receiver on that corresponding computer then you need to use an USB or PS2 mouse on one of the computers.

Some wireless mouses and keyboards come with a disk. Did yours? If so, install it. You can also try to configure your computer to use the wireless mouse. For windows vista, go to --- Control panel>hardware and sound--- there you can change your mouse and keyboard settings.... hope this helps

You are right buddy....the problem is not with the mouse! It's with the OS...Vista (mother of all problems!). I was also facing same problems related to wireless devices...I tried many tricks! But later i realiased that the best solution is to throw Vista in the Bin! I switched to XP....now everything is going f9!

Gigaware optical wireless mouse - does not work

Sounds like a Ebay sold mouse with non matching receiver to mouse.
Best laptop wireless mouse to buy in my opinion is Logitech VX Nano from Staples or some store like it.Work wonderful and battery life excellent. Windows Xp,Vista,Windows7 install the driver auto for you. Don't need the cd at all

Connection procedure for Toshiba N745 mouse needed.

I don't know if this is the same as my mouse. However I have a satellite1955-S803 with wireless detachable keyboard and full sized optical wireless mouse. The original owner said it came with the laptop.
First I tried very hard to get the keyboard working. After a frustrating day of calling Toshiba, I noticed the "detachable" latches. I removed the keyboard to find a battery compartment. 4 days go by with me calling Toshiba trying to get a replacement. Finally found a battery at batteries plus that does work. about half the mAhr of the original but hey it works.
Now to the mouse. Replaced the AA's batteries but couldn't tie the mouse to the computer. I run linux so no M$ driver would help. Finally found a PDF of the manual and it says "if the mouse has trouble activating, press the wireless mouse button on the laptop."
That button is on the front left edge of the laptop (where the "Intel inside", "XP loaded", and "nvidia" stickers are located ) just to the left of the front silver "mode" button. Under the mouse press the connect button. (round near the optic laser but un-labled) then press the wireless mouse button on the computer and there you go. It just connects and works.
2 weeks I looked for this and it was just that simple.

your usb sencer .wireless mouse and key bord sould be same set or combination to work. diffrent set's hardwere not work so youcouldnot not success to operate
