How do I stream movies from computer to tv? - Computers & Internet

1. i assume you have a smart tv that is internet connectable?
2. what is the source of your stream to the tv, pc, phone etc

i stream from my computer via hifi to my media player which is connected to my tv through a HDMI cable

3. if your tv is hifi equipped then you can stream from your computer through your wifi home network which you need to set up

Are you referring to online streaming. You need to be more specific.

There are many alternatives. You could use Amazon's instant video, stream movies to your tablet with a stream server on your computer, purchase it from other vendors, etc.

It is probably related to the streaming site or service. Try another movie or streaming site/service

Are you connected directly to the TV or through a computer? Check that your computer has the latest update on Flash player, Silverlight,...
Check that your computer is running smoothly during streaming using the preformance tools. Check while streaming a movie.
for TV and computer download any of the latest software offered by the streaming internet player.
Change the resolution for smaller and test.
And don't put your email or full name on the net , it could be hacked to easely.

This is a problem with the connection not the Roku. Also things that can effect this is now many Movies you have in your Netflix Instant Que. Deleted some of the Instant Que movies and reboot the Roku. See if this will FixYa up.
