I have a Panasonic AG-196 VHS Analog Camera. The battery is not charging, actually have 3 batteries that are not charging. I get a yellow charge light to flash when I turn on the AC adaptor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

yes. clan it now because particles that come off the magnetic tape or videotape can build up on the record/playback heads, reducing the signal quality.
hope this helps

SOURCE: flashing red power light
The problem here is condensation inside the camera. I leave the camera turned off, remove the cassette tape and then point a hair drier on warm or low heat and slow speed right into the innards of the camera through the open cassette tape door. I run the hair dryer for 5 minutes and then replace the cassette. If the camera still dosen't work just wait for another 5 or 10 minutes and then it will work OK.

Reset the camera. This may fix it. Is there a reset button on it? I have a GS-120 and I have to hit the reset button when the red light is flashing.
