How to copy music files from my computer to Smartparts Dig. Pic. Frame. After downloading the program/software from device to the computer, there was a menu for copying pics, but nothing for music files
If you open up My Computer, you will see your picture frame listed as a removable device. Open that up and you will see a folder called music. Drag and drop the music into that folder.

I removed my CF card from the picture frame and plugged it into my computer to see if it might be corrupted. It worked ok so I put it back in the Pic. frame and it worked ok their too ????
Are using a memory card. If yes, than go to "my computer" than click on drive that has memory card. (probably i: drive) The Music file is probably is mp3. Pictures are DOC
The frame has a light sensor. If it is too dark, the frame turns off the screen. You can change the sensor setting to avoid this problem. Check out the FAQ as following http://smartpartsproducts.com/content/support/faq/news.php?newsid=16
The setup file is on the frame. Connect the frame to your computer w/ the USB cable. Go to MY COMPUTER. Look for your frame as a removable device and open it up. There is a blue icon called "setup." If you click on it, it will start to download to your computer. If you can't find it, you can download from Smartparts website at this link: http://smartpartsproducts.com/content/support/optipix/optipixlogin.php
Make sure the music is in the correct file format for the frame. Some frames take MP3, others take WMA. If the format that you have is not compatible, you must convert it or the frame will not read it.

Once you connected your EX811 to your computer, and get the
message “Use PC interface to copy files.” That means you can start copying files.
Here are the steps: Copy pictures, videos, and music between
your frame and computer, using your computer's normal file copying tools: 1. Connect the
USB cable from the frame to your computer 2. On your
computer, open My Computer or Windows Explorer. The picture
frame appears as removable drives—one drive for each connected picture source
in the frame, in this order: internal memory, memory cards, and USB devices. 3. Navigate to
the pictures you want to copy. Then drag and drop them to the new location. 4. Unplug the USB cable to view your copied pictures.
i can add my photos to frame from menu but no way to add mp3s
