SOURCE: Ryobi 3000 psi pressure washer detergent injector

Most detergent injectors work by the venturi system. That is that the detergent is drawn into the stream by the forward flow of the water thru a very narrow port after the water passes thru the pump. This system works best when the pressure at the tip of the wand is low. Trying using a very large tip to draw in and apply the detergent, then remove injector and rinse with high pressure. Not good for the pump but to apply soap reliably under high pressure the soap needs to be injected through the intake of the pump. enjoy

SOURCE: High pressure hose connection blew up. Fix? or buy new?

Yes take it to napa auto parts and they can cut and attach a new end which are for hydraulics. They are crimped on and meant to hold very very high pressure. I used to use a pressure washer everyday for a living and it was a tractor rental/repair shop and we used the hydraulic fitting machine on the power washer hose all the time so rest assured.

SOURCE: My TroyBilt Pressure Washer 2500 PSI 2.3 max gpm

if you follow the chemical hose back to the pump it will be attached to a barbed nipple, behind the nipple there should be an o-ring, spring and a ball.
A lot of the time if you are using the proper nozzle in the low pressure setting and still cannot create suction the ball will be stuck to the o-ring. You can just free this up and put a little white grease on the o-ring.

I need to know where to put detergent in the pressure washer I have no model number

These units come with a detergent bottle that attaches to the spray wand. The manual describes what detergents to use and the attachment reduces the pressure and siphons the right amount of detergent from the container. It is not a good idea to try to run detergent through the pump.
Here is a link to the operating manual for a similar pressure washer.

How do I connect detergent tank to pump? This is a g3000 washer

G3000 is not much help. I have a car with an engine, can you help me get parts for it?
In general it is not a good idea to run solvents and cleaners through the pump. It tends to destroy the pressure seals ( people are often creative in what they use as cleaners) To protect the pump there is usually a siphon fitting on the high pressure side of the pump. There is usually a hose that you stick into your detergent. You then put in a large capacity cleaning nozzle and the detergent is sucked up the hose and out the low pressure cleaning nozzle. When you put on the high pressure spray nozzle the siphon valve seals and it does not draw detergent through the hose.

Why the water is running from detergent siphoning tube?

The siphoning mechanism on almost all power washers use "The Venturi" effect to suck up the detergent. Basically, there's no pump...the force of the water passing the siphon hose causes a vacuum which draws the detergent up the tube. There's a small ball that is supposed to fall and block the tube when the trigger is released so it sounds like it got jammed up in there somehow. You could it apart and free it up but I would recommend just purchasing an external detergent dispenser. Home Depot carries them for about 15 bucks. They allow you to use soap with high pressure and bypass the always problematic siphon system.

TerHow does the detergent tank on a Challenge Extreme Pressure washer operate? I cannot find a trigger to release the detergent into the water or does it happen automatically when there is detergent in...

The water pressure moving through the main hose siphons detergent out of the tank as long as you are pressure washing. It might take some time before you see the detergent coming out the nozzle.

I have a 2200 Troy Pressure washer, I cannot get it to draw a detergent solution. I am using the black soap nozzel, i have a new siphon hose. any ideas?

Dismount the bolt that is use to connect the soap line.Turn on the washer and test if you fill if is "suction" intake air.Sometimes it becomes clogged so see if anything is clogging the suction .Is that not work the suction system is bad.

My pressure washer will not pump the soap, when you take the pipe loose from the handle it pumps out when you hook it back to the handle it quites pumping

Most pressure washers introduce soap into stream of water by the siphon method. In order for the system to siphon the pressure tip must be changed to one with large opening. Once the large tip is install, the fast moving low pressure water thru the hose and wand will draw-in soap. With the pressure tip installed soap will not be drawn-in. To spray soap and water under pressure use a large container (larger the better like clean 30 gallon trashcan) and fill with clean water and measure of liquid detergent. Use short water hose from with-in container and connect to pressure washer as normal. Keep checking water level so that washer will not run dry. Most pressue washers will **** water in quickly from container, however you can pre-fill the water hose with water to speed things up. Trailer mounted pressure washers use a very large container for water. You can estimate how log the pressure washer will take to use the water by checking the gallons per minute rating of your machine. Good luck

John deere 3800psi pressure washer will not siphon detergent. the water end does fine but cannot get any soap

The only way the washer will draw soap into the line is with either the black tip installed or with no tip in wand at all. There is a ball and spring inside of the pipe that the siphon hose hooks to so when you use the washer with alot or even a little pressure the ball is forced up and blockes off the soap inlet port.So if you use it with no tip in the inlet port is open cause the ball isnt being forced up by back pressure.I hope this makes sense.

It says sud on the front wont start do i drain it manuelly?

To drain manually you'll need a siphon hose or small pump. A siphon hose can purchased at an auto parts store for about $5 and you can drain the water into a bucket.
According to Whirlpool for a SUD error:
? If too much detergent was used: —Run the unit through a Rinse/Spin cycle. —Run a Normal cycle without adding any detergent. This should clear the unit of the excess detergent. 1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked. 2. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 3. Check wire harness connections to the drain pump, pressure switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects. 5. Plug in washer or reconnect power. 6. Check drain pump. 7. Check the pressure switch. 8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle.

Soap doesn't dispense

There are different tips, In order for the unit to siphon the soap you need to use the tip that is for detergent. Its basically a tip that does not produce a high pressure it's more or less a soaker. Unit won't siphon under pressure. I hope this answer your question please rate the answer if it was helpful. Good Luck and have a great day. Jeff
