Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WD63 Front Load Washer/Dryer
My washing machine leaks or rather floods water out of the bottom front panel during the wash cyle. I have cleaned out the filters and checked the pipework but cannot seem to find anything wrong. Could it be the door seal?
Plug off the wall. Open the back of the machine to take a good look at the tube coming out from the bottom of the tub, open the front door to see if the door washer is loose somewhere. You could even try to reach out thru the back to locate any loose rubber gasket, the door gasket that is...... Possible you could take out the top of the machine to see if any of the normal 3 tubes entering your dispenser has come loose.....

It is so common that the drain leaks in many ways and
is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is
important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the
identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has
leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the
underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here.
In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the
house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside.
Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose
on the grip which can all cause the leak to occur. Removing and cleaning the
drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can
leak if there are gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this
will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

My family we just bought the washer machine, kenmore elite, not long ago. Yesterday while my mother was using the machine, water started to leak out of it. I check the machine afterward and found out that the the rubber ring ( i'm not sure if that's the name of it) had rip apart. I'm wondering can we repair that rubber ring by ourself and is there any of it sold in any stores or should i order it online. Can anyone help me solve this problem?
after cleaning the filter I replaced it, but water comes out. It does not appear to have made a seal.
unsure what is wrong with the washing machine but for a start nothing is lighting up on the front panel
