Question about SanDisk Sansa m250 MP3 Player

Frozen my mp3 player only says please wait rebuilding the library and it won't let me do anything else I can't get to or listen to my music how do I reset it and keep my music or just reset it?

Hey Shaya, Try this solution: double click on my computer right click on the Sansa icon Choose Format. This should release your snsa and allow you to upload music again and play it.

refurbish to manufactier settings should be fine if not sell if before it goes bad

My coby mp3 player is frozen. I can't even turn him off

Wait for it to drain completely!
Then charge the player and try using it!
It hapened to me once.....
But then it worked fine! :)

My zen touch is frozen. I can push the reset button. It then rebuilds the library and goes to play the same song ever time but does not due anything. It remains frozen and non of the buttons work. John

Since the reset does not work using the reset hole, then try this: First, back up all of your music and do this: Turn off the player and disconnect it from the computer. Then press and hold the play/puse button and turn it on simultaneously. The player should be in recovery mode. Scroll down and select format (all) and let it format. Then reload all of music back onto your player and it should work like new. Hope this helps!

yeah, if you hold the power button for about 15 seconds it should work. I just had the same problem as you guys and it fixed it.

can't view any files on SanDisk Sansa M250 player with Windows 7 I recently got a new computer running Windows 7. Since then, I can't edit, change, delete, or even view any files on my SanDisk Sansa M250 player! (Which I had put on the player when I was using Windows XP). It shows that the player is almost full (which it is), but it does not show any files, so I can't delete or add anything to the player! I checked to see if there is a specific driver for Windows 7 that I am missing, but everything I can find just says that it is already compatible, though obviously it's not! Help! Thanks!

Sansa M250 menu button not working My Sansa M250 was working great for a year, then yesterday the menu button stopped working. Songs play, but I have no menu controls. On/off works,volume works, play/pause works, and back and forward work. Pushing the menu button only lights up the screen. I've tried: taking out battery and installing new one, reformatting, holding down various buttons for 20 seconds. No luck. Any ideas?
