First of all open up your wireless utility and look at your signal strength. it should be at least -60dbm. Then what i want you to do is to find out what channels people are using around you (most Access points default to 6) if the majority of the people are using 6 switch yours to 1 or 11. Whatever channel is being used the most you change youes from that one. This should get you going again. If you have other issue get your signal strength and we'll see what is going on signal wise.

2) If your using windows program try these steps:

My wireless mouse keeps on dropping its connection and then it suddenly regains its connection. I tried replacing the battery but when i tried reinstalling it, it never showed up on the list.

You have to reconnect when you change the battery. You haven't stated which mouse you have so I can't point you to the instructions. Go to the Logitech website for a solution here.

Cant get my internet working

open your connections and find your connection and reconnect. if that does not work than you could have a problem with your wireless card . but some times all you have to do is turn your server off and unplug it for a minute and it will reset . good luck

Dlink DI-514 dropping my wireless connections

Your router probably needs a firmware upgrade to accommodate the throughput from the ISP server.
1. check with your provider to see if you have issue with your cable or DSL line.
Sometime if it is a DSL line it is the drop to your house , ( rodent chews in the line; rain or moisture, or dangling and not secured.
2.Cordless phones to close to the router will cause disconnection.
3. A firewall setting in an anti virus software can cause disconnect if not properly configured.
4. channell selection will cause disconnect on some older router such as yours and an new router is the only remedy because the router has come what is called " end- fo -life " and the manufacturer no longer support the router because of new router technology implemented.
