If you are trying to use the BT for file transfer(pics, music), you have to go to the pic or song you want to transfer, press the options soft-key and select copy. Then select "via bluetooth". This will search for active BT devices in the area of your phone. Once found the other handset must accept transfer and VOILA!

Depending how far of a range your getting, between your razr and your blue-tooth is important. Any range of 30ft or over is less likely to connect/search/and or pair with any capable blue-tooth device.
Try pair the two devices again, but remember to save the trusted blue-tooth to your device so that disconnection can be prevented only by your command.
If your blue-tooth has a short, or battery is extremely low then that TOO can cause disconnection.
Hope this information can be of a benefit to you. Thanks.
What u need to do is not just turn on the blue tooth on your phone but set it to 'find me', so that other bluetooth devices would be able to locate the device. the 'find me' option is also under the blue tooth menu.
usually you press and hold the button on the bluetooth headset device for 10 secs, the led will change color, then you pick up your phone get into the bluetooth part of the settings and tell the phone to look for it. Then after that when it finds it, the pin will probably be 00000.
Look it up on google the model of your headset you should be able to find the pin.
maybe you need to activate your blue tooth or turn it on in other words. not only that but you should go to your bluetooth profile and see whats going on there
