Uhhmmm.

Cause of spot when printing that is defective film inside fuser assembly. Maybe the film are milted when why the reason some powder of toner attached to the milted area of film so when the heater inside of the film was functioning the printout can display bad spot.

Sol.
Try new toner if nothing happen 100% that is fuser problem.
- Replace film inside fuser assembly or replace fuser assemby

You either have a bad spot on the drum or a bad spot on the fuser rollers. Replace the cartridge first. If spot continues, take cartridge out and get inside with a flashlight. You'll probably find a piece of paper stuck to a roller.

I have an HP 4515 and we are getting black spots on various pages. Is it time to replace the fuser assembly

Put paper in the manual feed tray. Print a few pages. As the paper gets pulled half way into the printer, open the top cover, pull out the toner and look down at the paper. If you see the spots replace the toner. If you don't see the spots replace the fuser.

WHY DOES THE PRINTER PRINT OUT BLACK PAGES

The problem is the toner cartridge. Try to replace new cartridge. The toner cartridge is damage. If you are refilling the toner cartridge, you didn't return the part correctly especially the roller drum it not correctly place making him print out prints all black page.

How to fit Duplexer unit HP 4250

Look at the back of the printer. Right above the back of the paper tray, there should be a piece of plastic that pulls out.. The duplexer slides into that gaping hole.

You probably have a bad fuser unit, I recommend a new maint. kit(which includes the fuser unit) part # Q5421A, but first try a new toner cartridge.

Grinding noise

This is caused by the swing arm (the part that drives the fuser) HP have modifed this, if you contact them, they may replace it free of charge. A short term solution is to wedge a piece of card or folded paper under the fuser assembly.
